The Tívoli
Tivoli is an amusement park located in Copenhagen, opposite the railway station. It was inaugurated in 1843. This park is busy all day. Many families, retirees and workers come there to rest and have a typical sausage or a waffle, with a beer. Tivoli is one of the essential destinations for tourists visiting the Danish capital.
When turns dusk lights attract thousands of visitors, who come to dine at one of the thirty restaurants or attend any function in any of the theaters or a musical in the concert hall. A nice scenario formed by trees, lakes and flowers, plus the huge park, enabling tourists to enjoy a nice stroll through this famous park in Copenhagen.
On weekends, the park is decked. Teenage Boys march to the beat of your music with gleaming helmets, white pants and red chaquestas (an outfit similar to the guards of the queen). These guys offer a weekly concert s Free.
Other
attractions of the park are evening concerts, acts in the outdoor theater,
ballet night, the pantomime and evening performances at the Children's Theatre.
In the Cabaret and Concert Hall are represented internationally renowned
artists. Twice a week there is a night show with fireworks. Visitors can learn
the history of the Museum Tivoli Tivoli, whose inauguration coincided with the
150th anniversary of the park.
